Jakkals. Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Devolder, the big guy is back. seems like he did a lot of training with Fabs. other favourites: Vandenburgh OPQS has always had the numbers, tactics however not always that great. But big T is back and I reckon pretty fresh.

T-Bob Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Sagan wins Stage 1 of Panne & is race leader. Apparently Sagan hit the brakes so Gatto could take the stage. Didn't work out. http://cdn.velonews.competitor.com/files/2014/04/SPTDW101-6-660x440.jpg

'Dale Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 After a fine showing at Gent', former winner Devolder is definitely a favorite contender for Tour of Flanders. Here's a list of the podiums of the last 10 years: 2013. T-Bob Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 So many people in contention this weekend. Obviously the royalty: - Boonan - Sparticus Then the next tier and some of my tips are:- Vanmarcke did well and pulled a pretty good sprint to pull 4th at G-W- Terpstra if plans A fails- Devolder looked great after a while off the boil- Tom Van Asbroeck from Top Sport has been looking like a outside bet as well- Sagan will either win or look confused as to how it got away from him again - Ciolek as a dark horse if it's cold and horrible. Sky look like walking wounded with Stannard out, Thomas battered and bruised and others going down on the weekend. I wanted Greg Van Avermaet to take a big one this year but apart from second early in the campaign he's looked low on self belief despite a bucket of talent. Glibert? Never say never, like Thor, but doubtful Stybar is great but is he in same kind form as last year esp in a team which is brimming with potential winners and the crowd fav.
T-Bob Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Yeah, tricky to doHigh-risk too like this photog' @ G-W on the weekend. "you just got to get the shot!" http://inrng.com/medias/img/wevelgemphotographer.jpg
