Seems like most bike fit places only offer road and XC bike fitment. I need to double check the fitment on the Mbuzi as I think it could be the cause of some of what I'm struggling with at the moment.

Obviously an AM or Enduro bike would have some similarities like fore and aft position of saddle as well as height of saddle.

But... how does the wider bars and short stem setup work with this. A fit could tell me to use a 680mm bar with 100mm stem which pretty much defeats the purpose of the 760mm bars and 50mm stem.

Anybody have this done before?

there's an enduro fit? No man, seriously.

There's the fit for your size, and added to that are cockpit adjustments for pedalling efficiency based on the geometry of the bike, whether road or MTB. Nothing else. End of story.

Downhill fit? what ever makes you most comfortable for the descent because there's hardly any sitting. Pedalling efficiency is irrelevant.

Enduro fit? *smh* I dunno Maxxis.

but what's the problem you are having with your Mbuzi?

Sorry I can't help, but this should be interesting.

Have you tried posting on mtbr?

Not yet. I did message a mate who does professional fittings. Will see what he says.

Funny enough I keep injuring a tiny muscle in my leg that ends up affecting a lot of other bits and pieces. This time I've been off for a long time. This is week 6. I'm thinking I'm not engaging the correct muscles in my legs when pedalling.

Working with a biokineticist now to rectify the problem for good hopefully. Just want to be sure the bike is setup correctly since I do my big training rides on it. The M9 and the Komodo are play bikes. I don't care too much about the setup on them.

Sounds like a seat post height / saddle angle issue.... which muscle is affected or which area of the leg?

Seems to be piriformis in the left leg and glute to an extent.
