My father-in-law and I were riding paceline past Noordhoek on our way to Houtbaai via chappies. My father in law overtakes me to take his turn up front. A motorists comes past and the idiot passenger lady hangs halfway out the window shouting SINGLE FILE. I mean WTH! I also met a few awesome motorist, who let us have right of way, waited at crossings and patiently rode behind is up chappies. Its a pity the one idiot will spoil the good work of 5 good guys. We all know how we should ride to stay safe, by we I mean the majority of the hubbers.. The awareness needs to get out there into the real world, not the hub world, we are a "handful" of people.. The OP is correct, they are chops, but chances are they don't read the hub, the cyclists that are moaned about, the triathletes that are moaned about, the runners that are moaned about, the motorists that are moaned about will most probably never ever read about the stupidity here.. Everyday I go to work and back on two wheels, and the number of motorists I see texting (or doing something on their fkn phones) instead of being aware of the tonnes of steel they are operating, skipping stop signs, red lights, failing to obey the speed limit, is well, pretty much all of them. Hey, OP, arseholes are arseholes.We as cyclists have a much bigger target than each other. Don't get me wrong, stupid is as stupid does, but really? Two guys called you "bud" and the rest of your post is real thin, why bother? Did you take the time to talk to your brethren about their riding, and the possible impact it has on you and me? I'm guessing not by your comments here. Why not start at the source, and not some faceless internet rant at the sky?have you tried to confront cyclists behaving like that ? I have, multiple times, both on bike on when I'm in the car, the result is always the same, a big F U from the cyclist

If you cant see that you are a part of your own statistic on this one the word so bashfully pushed out by your own keyboard 'irony' is in full use... I dont think this blatant petty disagreement for the sake of disagreeing is worth a dam... People in general are idiots and baiting eachother with silly phrases and unwitty retorts on this thread just proves it.. Lets concentrate on each one of us being the best person we can be.
