Guys / Gals, with D2D and Amashova creeping up on us, we need to put in more time on the IDT, and the funnest most effective way to do this is to ride together.

 

So.....On Wednesday night at 19h00 we will be doing the last 30km of the Argus. Please join us, irrespective of whether you ride in % or in QQ. Its a fantastic and safe way to get fit!

 

If you don't have a machine, check the classifieds for a sweet deal @Dipslick has got going on a Fortius, which includes a laptop!

@Harryn Started reading through but due to time contraints can you just give me an idea what I need to get and rough latest costs... I got a Flow on ver. 3. Normal Laptop and 3G at home. (How much data does it use up on the ave race). Still need to get a road bike for the trainer... baby steps :-)

Hi Swift

 

You will need to upgrade to the TTS 4.11.0 due to Tacx recently splitting the servers between the old and the latest ver of the software. I do not know what this costs, as my unit came with ver 4.

 

You will also need a Google Earth and a Multiplayer license .... Total cost of these is 70 Euros, these licenses are valid for a year. If you need any further help, shout.

Tacx, curse them and their mothers, refuse to open their platform to other systems, so we can only play with other Tacx users.

Ya, could have led us through some of those amazing routes in Switzerland.

 

Actually, Swiss, you must have loads of fantastic rides on your Garmin connect page. Any chance you could send me a couple of gpx files?

Sorry. I did not deal with your question on the data; - I have only once ridden using my 3g stick, and it ate through data quite quickly. The truth is i don't really know the answer tho, as i am on uncapped, so i don't really monitor the bandwidth i use.
