The unit will display alerts coming from your iOS device (not Android at this time) for incoming calls and texts. This will enable you to see that someone is calling or that a text has arrived, but it will not enable any scenario to answer the call or respond to the text.Meaning, you can’t just press a button and type a response, or answer the call. That’ll still have to happen within your phone. And, it should be obvious but is worthwhile stating that you must have your phone on your person for these to work. Meaning you won’t get text notifications if you leave your phone at home. This pairing is done via Bluetooth, not magic. For the price ($600 according to Ray Maker) it hardly seems worth it.
