So I recently bought a bike that had the remote lockout on below. Problem is it's broken beyond belief. Now my questions are:

1.) Are all the RoxkShox remotes cross compatible?

2.) Where can I find one on the cheap, not a huge must have but would be nice?

3.) Anybody have one lying around I could aqquire?

Sorry but I have some good and bad news.

Yes the RS cable remote lockouts are interchangeable with some tweaking, but best stick to the stock one.

Now the bad news, a new one is +-R1200.00 :whistling:

I have a sid.. remote lockout mechanism has always been a bit iffy.. Locks up nicely.. but to release you have to give the mechanism by the fork a bit of a nudge to get it to swing back.. tried new cable.. No joy

Try turning the screw that keeps the mech on top of fork attached loose by a 1/4 turn or less.

That worked for mine when I had the same problem

Thanks for the replies everyone. Now at least I know. I'll keep an eye open for a replacement. Luckily don't need the lockout too much,
