Knee pads for XC training

What operation was it? If you need to keep ligaments from ripping again (Or something in that line), you should get a brace, pads wont help. I wore a brace for a while, not fun at all

 

Saw Greg was also sporting a Brace last weekend.

unfortunately, from overseas as there is no local distributor.

 

Is this still the case?  Really interested in some elbow/forearm guards from them..

Ive just had a knee operation and Im looking to get some kneepads to wear on training rides for some protection!Any advice please on what to get!? XC riding

you can try MxAlliance, as they seem to a local branch of BTOSports, who are in the states. MXA dont normally hold stock, so they order from BTO. It takes an enormous amount of time to get here. Local post office strikes and go-slows certainly don't help.

Spotted them in a search so emailed them for some info, if their correspondence is anything to go by, then my hopes aren't high.. :(

Howzit, I know it's been 2 years, but I'm now looking for kneepads that are suitable for XC mountainbiking, and wondered what you had settled on? Any advice 2 years down the line would be greatly appreciated :-)

Holy Necro Batman.... but nevertheless what is the latest news on this kind of gear, preferably something available locally as Im already sitting with a shipment from CRC in customs and Im over that noise?
