usxorf Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 A few years ago I rode tokai on the day of the challenge, there was no closure of any of the route. I stuck to the ST though.

DJR Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 No real issue in 90 % of Tokai, but avoid the Mast tar section, you can do that another time. Ride single track and towards Silvermine and you won't even know the Mast Challenge is on.

Interesting concept, something different to the normal mtb races and my first time at Tokai (slipped in a few singletrack sections on the way down). Had a good morning on the bike but not sure it's something I'll pay to do again.
