T-Bob Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I threw up a comment yesterday, only come back today to see what was going on. Must have been my 26'r that that took me so long to get back... Oddly not much has changed. nathrix 1
nathrix Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 how bad adding a " I dont care about your wheelsize" option... for the "minorities" like me? Because one day my n+1 bikes will have all sorts of wheels done, for anyone who actually cares

porqui Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Nathrix - I know you have a 29er - but why? When last did you have a check-up? What will the next wheel size be? If it is a 30.5" will you be getting one? Why not?

Wyatt Earp Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) Nathrix - I know you have a 29er - but why? When last did you have a check-up? What will the next wheel size be? If it is a 30.5" will you be getting one? Why not? The thing is , three common wheel sizes always existed, the result was to eventually get them out there because the tyre manufacturers saw some new business potential. No tyres, no wheels.29'er should have been the original wheel size Fisher and his tjoms debated back in the day.Out of interest, Tom Ritchey has been mentioned and it has been claimed that he sat with the blueprints for the P29 in a cupboard for almost 10-12 years before he made the bike, so he obviously saw the merits, and if you ride that bike, you can fully understand the term "geometry done perfectly" Edited June 3, 2014 by Wyatt Earp nathrix 1
Wyatt Earp Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 How about a 32" I prefer a 700 C wheel with tyres at around 2.4 and upwards.
