That moment when you take the turnoff to your favourite single track trail and after about 1km you remember that you riding your road bike.

This is awesome!!! Just ride it anyway

You pull off the trail to let people go the other way through because it is too narrow to ride abreast and as you lean onto your foot realise that what looked like solid ground was just long grass growing out of the steep slope down to the river.

My employer just informed me that I'm required to take a 2 Week Business trip to PMB. That moment when I realised it's near Karlkloof and right by Cascades...

+1 and raise you 0.5. Only bike falls the other way, so there you are with one foot clipped in pinned under the bike half standing, unable to unclip or move with your best bud cracking himself so much he's unable to help.

and we call those people mates...

That moment when you are driving home after an awesome ride, super stoked and lean over to the passenger seat to grab you cell from you helmet and it's not there, then you realize you drove off with it still on the roof.

Drive back as quickly as you can feeling like such a **** to find the security guard picked it up and gives it back to you as you park, awesome post ride feeling returned!

The moment after you steel yourself on the rock garden because you ran out of talent. You are really going to feel this dismount....and then you wobble through safely by some miracle.
