anybody using the "Desktop" version of Vertual Training?

I am using it but is unable to join online racing? (even if I entered the race, and downloaded the route before)

 have the latest version (3.2.1196)

license is paid for

What option in the program do jou use to join the live race once you entered?

I see only the following 5 options

Users

Local routes

Internet routes

Start training

Route editor

What am I doing wrong?

Hi. You must choose "Start Training", then "Online Training", you then get a page that allows you to search for online races. I normally type my username in the "filter by username" box and hit "search". It will then bring up a list of all races that you have entered.

Click on the relevant race.  It should be easy to follow the prompts from there.

Thanks I did that.

Then I get the following error message.

"Your system time does not match the time zone"

How does one set / change the time zone????

eish man.

Start VT on your desktop. Click on "edit", it is on the left. This should open a page that will let you alter your country. You can also choose "users online profile" which will give you an option to check/change your country and city. Also, check the time zone as set on your pc in windows, not too sure if any of these will help, but they are worth checking.

I "stalked" you on VT and notice your profile is showing SA.   I have a feeling it is most probably your time zone settings in windows on the pc.

Jaa blixem i was ready and waiting saw the clock count down and started trapping but no swissvan on the screen, ended up doing a 45 minute TT on my own using the joule computer to see what kind of effort i can maintain...or rather not maintain for the duration of the race. Have not ridden that hard for a long time so it was good experiment from that perspective.

I dont know what went wrong... tbh the step by step process required to take part in a race is not very clear or logical imo. Would really appreciate if someone could do a step by step process and give it to Garf to put in his first post on the first page of the thread or somewhere easy to findas a guide for us newbies.

Think my mistake was not clicking "Enter race" after i downloaded the course but tbh i was in a flat spin trying to get organized and not sure if i did enter after or before downloading. Was also a bit confused initialy with the course as i was looking "pain cave tuesday" to download and the download button appeared to be on a different course called "Hunters creek...." took awhile to figure out it was one and the same....

Ja that has happened to me as well before. What works well now is to do the course again with a virtual partner from tonight's race (all races show up as virtual partners to choose from)
