I can hold a way higher wattage for longer out on the bike than on the trainer. I measure my FTP on the trainer though. Don't do any adjustments to the figure though

Sorry i don't have a power meter for outdoors so cannot compare. I find the indoor FTP tests are harder if i compare it to a similar outdoor heart rate based Lactic threshold test, which i put down to that HR does not react like power (slower to rise and drop off) whereas on the IDT with power you are instantly aware of the effort (watts) which drop instantly compared to HR

Fast Forward Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Mine also froze for a moment and then was ok again. Then on that last climb i dropped a chain but managed to fix it.
