My first online race. Was a lot of fun. Will definately be doing it again!

You nearly caught me out there, luckily the bleeding through my eyes cleared up just enough in the last few meters to see i had to put in a final effort

So today an email from iTunes says my subscription won't be renewed because it is now R1199 and not R799. Seems a 50% increase flags the auto-renew option.

 

Do I bite the bullet and renew or are there other successful options to consider? I love the software (wouldn't say so based on how infrequently I use it though) but this is a good opportunity to switch to something else if available.

Hi guys. So finally got myself an indoor trainer. Snapped up a Tacx Bushido Smart trainer. It has Ant+ and bluetooth smart. Connecting to my iphone / ipad over bluetooth. But to use Zwift etc i need a Ant dongle it seems. What do guys recommend getting? Looking forward to joining some rides!

How has the Bushido Smart performed to date? Interested to know how the ANT+ and BT FE-C versions are.

I have the same setup with two Bushido's for me and my better half. Works absolutely perfect. Even when we ride together on the same route or workout we use real partners and its perfect. Battled originally with the brake as it seems to be too tight but it was just a matter of my legs actually much weaker that I thought.

My trainer gave some very low Watt readings the 1st few km's. Not that I would have come close anyway. See next week

There has actually been a 1 US $ pricing increase since the software entered the market some 2+ years ago, not that bad considering....

 

the increase in ZAR is due to our lovely exchange rate fluctuating, a 30 - 50% slip against the mighty US $ is what has pushed pricing up.

 

if only we lived in europe / usa where inflation is almost non existent :(

Quick question: my wife renewed her annual a few months ago. If I now renew but as a premium member, I can add her as family for free. Does that start a fresh 12 months for her or will it be just for the same 12 months as me?

 

And to confirm, to do this I must renew on a PC through a browser but will have the option to choose that we both use the licenses on an iPad? If I remember from last year I didn't see the premium option when rendering through iTunes.

1. if you are the principle PREMIUM contract holder the secondary members contact will run on the same duration i.e. 30 days, 6 months or 12 months....... so if you load a secondary 6 months into a 12 month contract the secondary will only have 6 months of premium membership.

 

2. you will need to purchase the PREMIUM contact through the web portal, once logged into your CVT account on the web portal you will be able to add the secondary account under SUBSCRIPTION > MANAGE FAMILY SHARING

No problem I almost died on that hill did a 9km climb just before the race and I could feel it in the last 3 km

I'm current struggling to upload my indoor rides from the IPAD to VT cloud. anyone experiencing the same issue?

 

I received this message from VT support:

 

unfortunately, this week we report quite many problems with Server outage, therefore there are lot's of activity upload issues. Doesn't mean that the Activity are lost, but mostly waiting for uploading in the upload queue for hours. The re installation of VT application in your iPad delete your save activity in your iPad device, but all the activity are saved on VT Web portal http://my.virtualtraining.eu/.
