I tried a couple of times and just got annoyed

never really got the hype around the matrix. 

Whhaatt? Keanu's acting aside (although it could have been worse, Will Smith was supposed to have taken the role), I have never had the same feeling from any other movie when walking out of the cinema. It was just mind-blowing (granted I was 20 at the time), and it is still in my Top 5 movies ever.

I have a confession... Watched dark Knight again last night and I always felt that heath ledger got a pity Oscar... But he really was good in it. It's a solid movie and worthy of its high spot on the IMDb 250

I re-watched Salmon Fishing in the Yemen this week and it is still as delightfully entertaining as the first time I saw it. 8/10.  Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor are perfectly cast and I think this might be my favourite Kristin Scott Thomas role of all time.
