I dont approve of the doping nor the bullying, but everyone was doping .........

The doping and lying and the bullying is unforgivable, but everyone was doping and lying about it.

Repeating the statement does not make it more true.

Well then I suppose you just lucky YOU have never made mistakes, or ever will where people will judge you, and never forgive and forget what you might have done in the past. Maybe I just look at it differently as I have made many bad choices and I have not had my life ripped apart by people judging and not moving past my stupidity

you think lance saw it as a mistake he was making?

mmmkay then

Not sure where the BS started that Lance was "better". He rode the Tour 4 times before he started winning and ended with 3 DNFs & finished one in position 30sumthing.

also, doping affects everyone differently, so its most certainly NOT an even playing field

no not at all, not at the time he was doing it clearly, i am saying yes there must be consequence to how he carried on and there must be time to answer for what has happened, all i am saying why keep kicking the man he is "down"

others seem to have walked away living legends, yes he was the bully, funny how all who protected him and knew what he was doing are not in the limelight, im saying this is not ONLY ABOUT HIM thats where my problem lies its easy to USE him as the bad guy(mostly because he is) but he is NOT THE ONLY GUY

yeh - i agree - its over, move on. that said, he's still unrepentant (and lying about a lot of it)

Also, theres a lot of hypocrisy out there. Not all dopers are treated equal. Lance definitely got a rougher deal than some of the other current dopers.

Nail them all to the wall for 2nd offense and be done with it. Stop pussy footing around and do the job properly and consistently

RIGHT YOU ARE, 100% but again he showed he had the best dr and know how to make it work, and for years they couldnt catch him, funny thing is they still cant seem to find anyone who was/is clear over that period to give the yellow to, simply because they all USED, and in 10 years time they will find whatever the guys are using now

except for his cortizone tue, and his french lab result, has he ACTUALLY been busted? I dont think so....

Looking at the numbers & seeing guys go from zero to hero one must make up ones own mind.....

There are definitely more clean riders out there these days. Their numbers are shared and publicly available.

10 years ago Lance was pulling yellow #6 over his head, not sure anyone thought the sport was cleaner.

Best doper of the era, yes. Best cyclist, no - he had the best doctors. It is like F1, te best car wins, not the best driver. The difference with LA is all the marketing and publicity spent on all those training harder/ bigger lungs/high cadence riding/lighter after cancer stories. The term "marketing BS" comes to mind.

Im not interested in what happens now etc etc. The legal steps will run their full course, and everybody who lost money on "Lance pty ltd" have had their chance of getting it back. He will probably end up exactly where he started, which is probably fair in the end.

on paper, at the time, as it is now "cleaner"

its not going away and it never will, too much money involved too many sponsors to be satisfied, doping wont go away
