Hope they can organise a me a under the table prize just to make me happy for travelling so far! O, who wants a lift for FREE??? FrankB Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 So I do agree that the price of race is a bit on the high side and really hope to see good marshals and a well organised event with the money being put to good use. The alternate on the day is to race in the Engen Cycle in the City race that afternoon. Entries are only R50 and it looks like it's going to be some good racing and fun. I'm doing both the 90 km route and the Engen race that day.

I am going to rock up in my skin suit start doing squats and lunges until they concede to spend more money on road events.Buddy you're gonna have killer quads and GMs; because even CSA couldn't get the PPA to concede anything.

No major climbs (for me to get dropped in early on), but a number of smaller rollers where you have to be awake for potential break-aways. The last few kilometers up Adderley usually a bit messy, longish climbs which spread out the group on the narrow road, and catching the back markers from the short distance so be careful there
