Accepted, but its not like they didnt know there was going to be a demand again for next year.

Strange that there are problems. Only people who rode it last year can start entering today, and have a week or two to do it. No need to enter today. By staggering the events, there should be no more than a max of 700 odd trying to access the site.

 

Those who did not ride last year can only enter in August, which is when chaos could happen.

Problem is a number of people who did the Trail and Race might want to enter for the Adventure this time around. First come first serve, hence the rush.

 

Another issue they will have, unless they get it sorted in the next while is that the Race entries open at 12h00, meaning even more traffic on the site.

Can't be more than a few thousand people. Doesn't Amazon / Google offer a hosting service for things like this?

At sani2c they also seem frustrated; I guess someone (Entelect?) misled them about capabilities.

1200 places for the adventure, so x2 as each rider will have two or so browsers open. x4 as riders from the race and trail will be wanting to get in x 4 as other riders and newbies will be wanting to get in, x 2 for good luck to cover bases.
