I take it Bero would not have recovered..?

That would have been a showdown..Berto, Quantana and Froom..

Bring it

Yeah, he will be fit to race; won't be fit to contend for nr 1

%^&%$$& lost the rest..........Provisional start list but it will be interesting. Froome, Quintana, Purito etc. Horner defending but I can't see him even getting on the podium. Can't wait.

Ooh I hope they get podiums or maybe a win here and there!!

Might be asking too much with such a strong field. Betancur, Aru, Evans, Froome, Gesink, De Marchi, Talansky, Horner, Purito, van den Broeck, Uran. And of course the youngsters Kudos, Bargiul, Arredondo, Ellissonde. PS: Don't forget Dan Craven.

Yeah, I know...Still hoping... Really like Argos's Barguil - future star... I see Sagan is also noted to be there

From Cycling News:

After finishing third during Thursday's stage four summit finish at the Tour of Utah, Lampre-Merida's Chris Horner said he saw positive signs he is recovering from a chest infection that he picked up before the Tour de France.

The 2013 Vuelta a Espana winner said he believes he's on schedule to be in peak form for his Vuelta defense, which will start on August 23.
