nothing puts a smile on my face more than watching kids riding with a beaming grin on their faces.

 

paying it foward is indeed the way forward - hope his old bike can go to some other kid that doesn't have one to share the love of 2 wheels.

He wants his friend Daniel to have it for a while and then we will see after that.

In terms of his riding ability, this bike could not have gone to anyone more deserving and in need of something better. His potential was kept under such tight guard with that old bike..

6.15 this morning I stumble out of the bedroom in my normal morning haze and he is stood in the the lounge (for that is where the bike lives) just looking at it.

He was jumping it all over the place yesterday, nearly cleared the table at the start of My Roots and did basically every jump he could find on the way down from Mamba.

It should be pointed out he skinned my best time on Mamba yesterday by twenty seconds. Yep twenty. In the rainy mudfest that it is now. I may be out of my depth now.
