Seeding races for 94.7 cycle challenge

Hi I'm a new cyclist. Would like to know which races contribute as seeding races for the cycle challenge. Thanks

As far as i know the only one left for this year is Randwater Race for Victory (110km).

Should also be mentioned that there are some races that are not timed by racetec who make arrangements for their results to be used, e.g. Carnival City, but I don't think there are any of these left this year.

Yes, but there is a cut-off. I know last year my time for the Telkom Satellite wasn't counted. I think D2D and Race4Victory still count?

Yes, Race 4 Victory specifically state that they are a seeding event for the 94.7.

 

Racetec timed road races close to Joburg before this date are:

* Lost City (this weekend. You will need to do a late entry.)

* D2D - 7 September

* Race 4 Victory - 21 September

This year at the Argus I know they included the 99er for seeding which was just about a month before the race, so even races in early October might be included.

 

I guess you can also add Karoo2Coast to the list if you are down in the Cape

ITs any race before the end of September. you also have Campus to Campus in Potch.

You just need one decent result and bear in mind that index for R4V is higher due to distance so take your chances but don't blow it!

This race depends a whole lot on the wind for the day... relatively simple route BUT if the wind blows like last year its a nightmare.

Forget the races and ride for a charity, then raise some funds for them at the same time and get a better start.
