Rampage 2014

Andreu's ride was squeaky clean without fault but I'd say his score should have been 5 points less. His ride might not have been as impressive as the likes of Semenuk or Rheeder (special mention to Zink's 360 drop) but it was his execution that won the day.

edit: sp

It was also his fluidity and speed that got him the victory.

Bloody Rampage...my 5 o clock run this morning hurt

Ok...Andreu's run..good..but not 95

My run of the day was Rheeders first run. I dont think Cam zink should have been in the top 3...that should have been reserved for Rheeders, Seemenuk and Andreu

Trick of the day - Cam Zink without a doubt

Biggest balls of the day - forward flipping the canyon gap by the young canadian

Decided I'll be cancelling Telkom. Had too many issues and constant port "resets"... WTF.

Afrihost you say. I'll be contacting a new SP tomorrow!!!

Thanks telkom, it's been emotional...

To be honest port resets are normally an indicator of a bad line and not related to the ISP at all.

So switching to afrihost etc wont make a difference.

You need to put pressure on telscum to fix your line itself.

I dont  think this was Andreu's best rampage, and while I was rooting heavily for him to win based on my perspective that he was unfairly treated in previous rampages, Rheeder should've won. The scoring was flipping bizarre. I've made comment elsewhere that I think rampage scoring revolves on that 'one trick', and Zink's run personified it. Rheeder's run was more enjoyable to watch and should've topped out on aggregate, but no. Maybe i'm confusing spectator value versus actual hardship to the rider, and/or i dont understand the scoring, but the results feel baked.

What did you guy's think of the 'new' venue?

And the change (from what I could tell at least) to a more natural feature course with not much wood?

Must admit I also found the scoring a bit weird, and was disappointed that Agassiz didn't ride

For me also the best run didn't win......although I must admit because of a power failure (Eskom and myself) I didnt watch the last few guys on their 2nd runs.

Also a 95+ for THAT?! Eish. That was a bit high.

I am glad/motivated/scared/eager (and all the other feelings I dont have words for) to take my Tues out and go wild! That thing will safe me I am sure (it has already actually)...but now to bigger things :) ^_^ YT 1st and 2nd...quite something for such a small manufacturer. Forchheim is deffo partying it up today!

With you on this one. Would be nice to see a summary of the points after the run.
