guys, I purchased my Scott from the Scott importers in edenvale close to Modderfontein off ramp so I don't have that guys bike. I just didn't have time to place my add 100% correctly and I am a complete beginner in the sport so didn't even know what the crank was until a guy explained to me of what exactly he wants a photo of. Sorry for your loss dude but this baby aint yours.

Fastest way for you to eliminate doubt would be for you to post a picture of the proof of purchase...not saying you need to prove anything to anyone but if you do that you'll get everyone off your back pretty quickly. If you can't/don't do that then you won't be doing your case any good here...or maybe a pic of the new bike your dad bought you? Perhaps a pic of you with both bikes next to each other?

May be legit, seems you do a lot of trading in bikes and cars as well.

Good luck with the sale.

Hope the OP's bike gets recovered

Edit: GS's bike still has the spoke protector behind the cassette, dont see it on the stolen bike pic.

You people cannot make assumptions and start accusing someone of selling a stolen bike. There are plenty of Scotts out there, all with similar colour schemes and specs.

Hey hey chillax fella, suspicions were raised. That is what the Hub is all about, people looking out for other people. Many many stolen bikes have been recovered here just from that exact suspicion raising.
