Is it the right size for you

I would disagree about age of bike -- makes a huge difference to the price of the bike.

Fashion dictates unfortunately

I would not pay more than R6 000 although it is an amazing bike and in pristene condition

I would say offer R7000.

The tyres show signs of age and may be replaced soon.

Is the bike the right size for you?

A bargain is a bargain when you feel it is a bargain - so I would say GO for it.

That bike is a beauty.

I have done 24 Argus rides all but one on the same bike - a 30 year old Colnago (steel frame) - my time +- 3h15
