I just hope he doesn't feel the need to ride subordinately to the legend that is Greg as he did while co-piloting with Loic.

I think he needs to still mature a bit just like Loic did... That whole trio with Finn is without a doubt one of the best teams a sponsor could wish for. Was really hoping that the Syndicate would grab them all last year. I'm a huge Loic fan from the begining when he basicly smashed every first split and crashed out in following split.. he matured a lot and is definitely still my fav ftw. I'm sure Loris will be one to watch under Gregs guidance... Other news, Needles is officially off UR team. Wonder if hes retiring or just changing teams??
ichnusa Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 International DH racing is a beast... It takes so much more than talent to get to the top and stay there. Greg, Peaty, Aaron, (Gee?) are only a few who did. Many others (Ratboy, Fairclough, MacDonald, ?Hart), have shown so much promise, but never remained. Who knows if Luic and Loris will remain at the top.

Capricorn Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Specialized gravity republic formally parts ways with SRAM and rockshox, which means new cockpit, drivetrain and suspension respectively. Loic's IG shows this.. me thinks that's some form of Ohlins fork. Was hoping they would be riding the finalized version of the Ohlins USD fork, the prototype of which is below , ironically on the same frame. But Loic's IG post seems to show a fork arch where one wouldn't be on a USD fork. the thing about Ohlins that always tickles me, is that they sponsor no one: you, no matter who you are or what team you are on, must buy their forks.
