Sorry dude,that's sucks,just as the weather is getting warmer. I just bought a cube from Hennie at buycycle and he bought a brand new and I think it was from Paul.

Only on Monday? Is there a shortage of doctors? Mine was done four hours after the crash and boy o boy, it hurts like hell when painkillers work out!

Good luck tomorrow. It is quite normal to do the surgery a few days afterwards rather than immediately. I found that I was almost entirely pain free as soon as I came out of surgery but I stayed on painkillers for about 2 days afterwards. Having the arm in a sling before the surgery was the worst part where every tiny movement caused serious pain. That type of stabbing pain was gone immediately after the surgery and only local milder pain from the surgery itself lingered for a few days. Movement and strength returned slowly, but I could gently ride the IDT and a spinning bike within 2 weeks, I was back on the road bike about 8 weeks later, but gave the mtb another month or so and then rode like a little old lady on the way to church for a while afterwards.

DJR, shot!! that's exactly what the surgeon dude said. Will definitely be on IDT the moment I can. So still time to recover for 94.7 and DC but will probably skip W2W now...

Mine was 29 Dec 2010 just before my first Epic in 2011! Week and a half, on the IDT with arm tightly strapped to my body, 2 and a half weeks later on mtb! My head told me that my dual would be a lot softer on the tar than my roadbike! Healed up pretty good in 5 weeks!

I didn't come for about two years straight, then crashed 3 times in 3 consecutive rides.

Surgery went well, Doc says I could be back on IDT within a week!! Much to my fiancés disgust haha. Tells me I'm a bit obsessed with "this TSS thing" as she calls it.
