Also, if you ask me nicely I'll share my 85km Strava route that includes 3 different trails (connected by a few km's Tarmac)...4 if you add the 7km downhill track at Slipperfields, which will leave a brown mark in your pants if you stay off the brakes. If you add the 40km Longmore forest trail you will be kept busy the whole day with some of the most beautiful views our country has to offer. I think the person merely took the first or last trail in each chapter of the book to get a nice spread for each province in the country I mean - Bushmanskloof - (described as 18km of sandy dirtroads on the website) the BEST trail in the Western Cape? Yeah right...

Sure man sounds great! if you want I'll hook you up with all the trails in a 50km radius from Jbay. Unfortunately there are so many great trails around here that you won't spend a lot of time in Jbay haha.

I grew up there and did a race there a few years ago on that route, but would not rate it as one of the best in the country although its not bad But anyway, will go and do it in December jus to be sure But who compares a 9km route with routes of 180km+. Silly really

Whats the elevation difference like of the trails JJ? Bru, anything from "I'm never gonna get to the top" to "I think I just passed the Pearly gates". We did a 36km trail near Addo called Hayterdale where we climbed about 1500 meters. The descents made me realize I need to sort out my Will and testament.
