it was a 80mm CBD ring, machined to fit a 96mm CBD crank... you can see where the 80mm tabs have been milled off

CBD... and again...  :clap:

Sometimes shifters work better when mounted to the top tube...with a cable tie... ON A SURLY... WTF?!

'kinell, there's some funny stuff here.

 

Saw a local dude in Honeydew a few weeks ago: He had made an entire bicycle frame out of timber pallet planks; wheels, bars and other bits were from a real bike. Couldn't get a photo unfortunately..

yeah so did I, they made one with a 30T middle ring to give the same ratios on a 29er as a 32T on a 26er - which has a 96bcd
