I have a recycle service, R55 per month, and they collect once a week at my home. Only two bags, one with glass, and the other with metals/cardboard/plastic.

My used bombs go in one of those bags.  Our weekly rubbish bag is about the size of a soccer ball.  (we have a worm-farm as well).

Or just drop it off at a community recycling centre.

Or better yet, take them to a scrap dealer, take the bucks and buy a meal for a person in need.

:)

Good idea!

Maybe put bins at venues for guys ad gals to drop-off their used bombs, recycle said bombs and donate to a selected charity.

Not too many. Probably about 15 over the past ten months or so. Only really use them to seat my tyres/inflate them when I'm in a hurry. I use a handpump to maintain the preferred pressure.

Yes. Currenlty recycling primarily glass and plastic. Don't use too many goods with tin packaging.

Some serious tyre consumption going on here.

wow, makes one realise how lucky we are that here in CT. There is a recycle service that is included as part of your municipal services. Just have all your recyclable stuff in a separate bag - put it out as you would your normal garbage, two trucks come by, one for recycling stuff and one for garbage.

When you go your own compost and recycle, it is amazing how much stuff has to actually go to waste. My only current bug bear is I have to travel to the dump to get rid of old oil and turp's etc. They have special containers for these at the local dump site.
