N + 1

So I was convinced that the N + 1 rule applies till I snapped my rear shifter cable 2km into the Berg and Bush decent. After riding a single speed in my 11 up and down, up and down I have come to the realisation that I have absolutely whatsoever no requirement to buy a single speed. They suck!

try the right ratio for the terrain and your level of fitness and it will grow on you !!

err. it was stuck in the 11? what size chainring at the front, kind of important mr Norris? you could have just played with your limit screw or the and got it into an easier gear.
