The Oak Valley 24hr is this coming weekend. My first race since the SSWC in 2012. Feeling quite apprehensive about it as it will be a lot tougher than the SSWC, which already for me was hard.

Team OddWheel representing the 1 wheelers   (1 girl, 3 guys) See the you guys on the trails. We promise we'll make every effort to move out of your way where possible  :D

I'd enter just to watch a uniwheeler going up those climbs, as well as coming down. I hope there will be Go-Pro footage!

Will be there as support crew for a school team. Will be a loooong night of getting young men to leave their warm sleeping bags and tackle yet another lap.

GirleeRyder, the female member of our Team has a Go-Pro. So you may see some footage.

As for the climbs, I may well be walking some of them but will definitely be pushing myself to ride as much as I possibly can. The other riders in the team are stronger hill climbers than me, so I'm expecting them to do quite well actually.

Going down is where the fun is   Not sure what the course is going to be like but am hoping that there will be some technical downhill sections to keep it interesting.

I see there are some light rain predicted.  Might get really interesting.

There was light rain in the middle of the night last year, which I quite enjoyed  :)

Really sorry to be missing this event, it is usually just flipping brilliant.

Buttttt .... if someone has to pull out at the last minute and they are willing to donate their entry I would happily take it :)
