Uni Posted November 1, 2014 Share How do you check if this is a crack in the frame? My OH's bike.
Raydek Posted November 1, 2014 Share I had a thread about a crack as well, if it was paint or not. Someone suggest a baby powder method, can't quite remember how it works, but something along the lines of if the baby powder stays visible then its paint, if it disappears is a crack... Found a link to pinkbike explaining it.. Might help... http://m.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=7182

Eugene Posted November 3, 2014 Share With Scott's reputation for cracking, take it to a bike shop for a proper inspection.
