I have received no PM's of anyone willing to help me with something to assist me in losing weight!

Some people on the hub only want to take, and never want to give!

Why can't the dopers be nice guys as well... oh well there I answered myself

*takes a phedracut*

*I actually do drink phedracut*

*I know my urine is more expensive*

*blah blah, its my urine and Ill make it as expensive as I wish to!*

Unfortunately, self-importance leads to self-impotence. And then you need a PED, or you spend a lot of time angry, frustrated and doing nothing.

That's the whole point!

Self importance leads people to use PED's, and the same self importance causes the people who are against them to get pissed with the dopers for minimizing their self importance, because now they're not as competitive... ;)

I am too stupid for drugs.....and a man.....visual performance enhancement.....nothing beats natural testosterone with a dab of adrenaline.

That sounds more like an assumption.

He might be gifted but he is also level headed.

I also believe that us as parents need to take full responsibility and it begins with expectation.

Do I want him to win ? YES

Do I expect him to win ? NO

Do I put too much pressure on him ? NO

Do I notice when he is tired, needs a rest and might lose a bit of interest ? YES

I think too many parents expect their children to fulfil the dreams and goals that they failed at or never got to achieve.

My boy is grading in two weeks time and he is either up for the final brown or 1st' junior black.

I know what I would like for him to have, but I asked him as to what he expects, and he says to me "I just want to pass and not let anyone down Dad"

Yip..

It's all about balance.. man I have seen parents push kids to such an extent that their kids are nervous wrecks out of fear of what will happen if they don't achieve what their parents expect of them.. crazy stuff..

People forget that kids are kids and mentally and physically are not able to perform at a level of an adult.

As you said, of course you'd like your child to win but it won't make you love them any less if they don't, I always tell my two that you learn more from losing than you do from winning.
