Far off the mark.

Worlds most televised event? Maybe But we can't prove that claim. 18min of highlights every night vs every UCI XCO event live.....you do the math.

The epic is hype. Spez bikes are hype. Cheaply produced (lowest retail cost of all the brands whichis why retailer like them - they can make really good money by putting you on one).

if your life is hype then the brand and event are right up your alley

Is that the best you can come up with. They are around us for sure...

I think I'm starting to understand why this thread exists...

Because of Go Lefty. He believes Sauser would have won the Epic on a Bmx. Unless that Bmx had brain suspension.

No he would have won it FIVE TIMES on a unicycle with a stake for a seat.

No way that is correct. Sorry. Watched the bikes getting washed afterwards, hardly any Bulls bikes, apart from team Bulls. Very few Momsens. Loads of Spez, Canondale and Merida. Thats for sure. Giant is not even on that list, saw loads of Anthem x bikes. Someone was drunk for sure.

Inside line says 30% of Epic starters were on Epics. Epic.

Just repeating info, makes no difference to me who's riding how many of what many.

The Check Express would have dominated on a bmx with the inverted shock.

I`m with goLefty on this one, lots of hype, and not the best value for the man on the street, and just too plain common.

And if I am not mistaken, the chaps at giant, that you spaz boys are taking pot shot s at, will be manufacturing the spaz frames!

Giant offer great value due to their large manufacturing plants. They have the power to smelt form and draw ttheir own aluminium tubes which they then hydro form......Just a basic example of what they do.

Then the comment of why do giant not go direct in sa vs working through dragon sports. ......Well it is simple, dragon are flipping good at what they do and serve the giant clients (retailers and riders)well with back up service, and have been doing so for many many years.....Why go and shoot such a valuable and loyal asset in the back just to improve the profit margins. Making money is one thing, greed is another.

From the Epic website: The Absa Cape Epic is widely regarded as the world’s premier international mountain bike stage race and it is the most televised mountain bike race of all time. Since its inception in 2004, the Absa Cape Epic has generated more than 24 500 hours of TV coverage in Europe, America, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

"World's most widely" could be interpreted in many ways. Amount of countries, viewers, amount of TV slots...it's all relative.

Those are tears of laughter. Nothing like a good joke on a Sunday night to set the mood for the week.

I think you're confused......actually based on your previous posts you clearly are confused. It all makes sense now
