patches Posted November 21, 2014 Share If you can say no, you're a stronger man than me... http://media1.roseversand.de/product/1850/1/8/1859582_1.jpg Saints. Newer patform, better platform, grip like stank. Still Shimano's achaic cup & cone bearing technology. I know of a few sets of Saints that have developed play after just a few months. Also, the profile may be lower than the DX flats, but still quite thick when compared to today's standard in proper flat pedals. I can say no and stick to my trusty Neutrons for now... and oneday when my ship comes in... it'll be Hope F20s http://cdn.probikeshop.fr/images/products2/14/82066/600x600-82066-pb67531-1.jpg Edited November 21, 2014 by patches Robodog

patches Posted November 21, 2014 Share Still, when compared to Crap Brothers they're cutting edge, man! Don't worry, I don't ride such pedals... oh wait, I forgot, I do! Somewhere in the deepest darkest corner of my spares box are some "used 5x" CB Mallets. But it's the 4 sets of Neutrons on the bikes, some over 3yrs old and never serviced, that tell it all. rudi-h Posted November 25, 2014 Share see some mention above to the "thickness" of the pedals. Just curious, what difference does it make whether the pedals are thicker or thinner in terms of the cross section? i cringe to say, but I bought giant pedals (and put them on a santacruz... i know) and they are quite "thick", probably around 30mm if i had to guess? does this mean I need to buy a pair of saints?
