on a completely separate note...he could of course be liquidating to get out of a lease.......in light of the other shop movements happening in that new centre  :whistling:

Damnit. Just ordered a Catlike helmet and needed some tune goodies.

 

Word is that it will all be resolved soon and the brands will continue to be supported (Catlike, Selle SMP and Tune).

This has been a long time coming IMO. Since Johan started selling off stores as franchises the signs were there.

 

On another note, spare a thought for the Velolife TimeFreight team. Thankfully TimeFreight are on the ball but finding a new bike sponsor is going to be tough at this late stage.

I hope that the guys who have put down deposits, get their money back on bikes or frames that haven't been delivered yet.

 

Doesn't look good for them tho.

Doubt thats the case. Pretty sure they'll be sorted out.

So who do we go to now if we have warranty issues with our Catlike helmets,can't win.

 

Perhaps contact Velo or Catlike - I'm sure one of them has a solution. Don't jump straight to the doom and gloom scenerio...

Two days ago the KZN stores were getting closed. Maybe give them I little time to sort that out. Not defending them, buts it's probably been a whirlwind few days.

 

Alternatively drop Catlike a line.

 

Point is, don't assume the worst before giving a them a fair chance or trying all avenues. My guess is at the moment, it's probably best to get hold of Catlike directly. Pretty sure they'll be keen on maintaining customer relations.

I know things happened very suddenly so will just wait and see. The staff even got caught off guard.

Hmm this is rather crap. Financed a revox 2013 ltd edition through them and part of the deal is that they pay the shop R2000 in bike service fees for me to have my bike serviced during the period at no cost! Now that is all gone???
