nathrix Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Geez you guys. Ever been to the karoo? Try see what it looks like on satellite image,few less lakes and rivers than on terrain view . I've been through there and the Karoo plenty, my favorite spot in the world. Also looked at the satellite where he's at, there's not even a tree in sight.

Only been going 32 hours. In endurance riding that's just a warm up for some. For John this is surely a new ball game, he might be good at it. 60 hours for the fast guys will see a midnight finish on Friday /tomorrow. So basically only 2 nights. A 2-4 hr rest at Loxton is probably the best tactical stop.

LoveMyRide Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Been trying to raise the police station in Victoria West and see if I can convince them to take a drive along the R403 with some water and give the wayward cyclists some water and the good news, but no luck getting anybody on the numbers listed. See Hanele and Patric have at least stopped at a farm.
