So how we all feeling? How'd it go?

Total train smash. Clearly lacking in the multi-sport endurance. First run was lekker, some good pace, not too challenging. But then the heat started to descend and the ride became tougher and tougher by the second. Lots of walking took place. Second "run" turned out to be a 2.5k walk. Atrocious day out, but a lot was learnt about my current state of fitness. Gonna stick to the individual events for now. Next multi-sport event is in April, Trinity Sports, luckily that one will be a road event, hopefully that'll go smoother.

Hey everyone. If you found a Cratoni C-Tracer helmet (matt black/red/white) in the transition area please let me kn.

I left it there in my post race pain haze...Row E (second last row).

Wow...i was completely finished yesterday...did the full in batch C 35-39 AG (sub-vet) in 3:13.

Defn struggled on the MTB the most...the heat and lack of fluids made it worse.  Need to do some hot weather training + lift the intensity.  Otherwise it was a fantastic day out...cant wait for the next one. :)

Advendurance had this one waxed - nicely done chaps!

Kudos to Johan@Hakahana for the awesome trails he created over the last number of years. ????

And those 2 gap jumps at the end of the ride was epic !!

My first DualX...

Was a good day out, a little toughie, it was!

Having last ridden Hakahana at TrailSeeker year before last, the climbs brought back some kind of memory / nightmare...

Next time I'll try do more than 2 runs training over the last month and a bit... :D

happy with the 2h32, the heat out there was crazy! kinda looked forward to the headwinds to blow a little air into your face.

Would definitely suggest that the events that are in summer start earlier, even going off at 8 this morning, it got hot really quickly.

Otherwise loved the route!

and as for that hosepipe at the finish!!! what a winner!

Definitely agree with you but I think the reason they do it is due to the kiddies races being first and they need to get them finished before we all start.

So, ankle turned blue on Sat/Sun. Went to the dr. this afternoon and a sonar revealed 2 ligaments have grade 2 damage; one hanging on a thread. Moonboot again - 2 to 4 weeks. I guess completing the race wasn't the best idea. Hopefully back on the spinner by next week!
