You're doing 2 races in 2 days? That makes you a machine in my book [emoji106]

In two minds about this one. Obviously a lot of work went into this, but riding a loop with multiple right hand turns in traffic? Also nearly none of the roads have a shoulder (or so it felt). I was the last official starter and saw a different face of these rides. I can honestly say that the real back backmarkers really do piss the traffic off. We really need to start a type of awareness amongst entrants about reasonable riding.

On the positive: actually shook hands with bradwentzel. It turns out we rode together the whole of yesterday. Also hooked up with bmw1za on the road. Nice to meet guys.

I had a good training ride for a what was a long TT.

Cheers. Nice to meet you to bro.

Hope you had a solid day out.

AL was marred by negative racing today. Pity.

Clearly some people didn't read or understand the new route properly. Winning Tandem did just over 2hr15min with an average speed of 47kph. But on closer inspection after going passed serengeti on second loop instead of turning right again towards marister/dunblane they went straight on the short route and only ended up doing about 94km. Yet they complain after the race when they get DQ'd and mouth off about the rest of us that did 112km saying we are bad sports for claiming better positions. UM SORRY FOR YOU BUDDIES BUT WE DID THE FULL RACE. I studied the route before, I listened to the announcer before the race, I followed the boards. So why cant you?

Also the way fusion sport and championchip handled the situation after the race was pathetic, They didn't know what was going on and eventually after much fighting they just left it all a mess and abandoned the podium.

VA went the wrong way too! Brad, you need to calm down in the bunch. It's only the Open A group. Thanks for all the hard work up front anyway!

They have been DQ'd in the results

Also loved the chap from BL who decided he was racing A today.

AL went quicker that VA too.. Interesting

I see the results have been corrected but there was still no podium, What about the smaller guys that have sponsors and lost out on some photo time? I don't care about the money I care about giving back to my sponsors who fork out time and money to put us in the races and have nothing to show for it. And also its not right to go shouting your mouth off calling all the full race riders bad sports.

We also passed a lot of BL guys that obviously gone wrong. Just a pity good days racing leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Anyway well done to all that did 112km.

Sad to say that a lots of people has took chances on route-detour to make their results more favorable (not just the BL, but the CL group also as I've not recalled being lapped by them, yet most of the CL finishing time were shorter than mine)

Yes, I witnessed quite a couple of tools making a left towards Petit on the first loop, and believe me, they did not do it by mistake, because everyone else was turning right. They needed another mat there.

Anyway, I had a very enjoyable ride in BL, who rode considerately, except for one black dude, who was all over the place irritating everyone. He then proceeded to stop dead and dismount on a climb in the middle of the bunch, I kid you not, drawing a couple choice rebukes after nearly bringing us all down.

I saw lots of people had racetec chips! So, quite a few will be disappointed I think.

Lastly, It was not 109km, I registered almost 112km.

AHA, NO Crash Today    ... Thanks to Patchelicious for the Entry

Suffered in style in A Today , After the bunch split got comfortable in a Chase batch and survived to the 64 mark where the break of B And C Caught us ... Pace went up like crazy but we held on .

Only had sligh drama on the Long Downhill at 75 km mark (huge bunch so i decided to go forward to safety)... righhhhhtttt. someone dropped a Garmin which bounced across the road and found my back wheel, busted the Speed and cadence sensor which shatteres through the wheel and jammed in my crank Arm... Whats the flippen chances. ????  quick stop to get going but lost the bunch and popped myself chasing ...

Met quite a few hubbers ... Howdy ... You guys made my day saying Hi and thanks for the pacing . My Heros

Top two BL results also look a little off.

I was in the lead BL group all the way, taking a few turns at the front before the insanely strong group of CL riders caught us.

I don't believe there was anyone that got of the front of BL before the last km into Serengeti.
