Ride review pleeeeeeeeze

How does she ride?....like any other bike on two wheels :whistling:

Done 2x3hour ride,2x2hour rides and a few 1 hour rides so spent a bit of time getting to know her better.

I have set my stem 5mm higher than my other bikes to add a bit to the comfort.

First off, when i received the frame i polished it up with some car wax and had a close look at the decals and spray work.I couldn't find any paint run, bubbles or blemishes on the bike.Attention to detail is great.

I went for my first ride expecting to be blown away by the comfort and handling on the bike.

It was more than i expected to say the least.

The bike is stiff and that surprised me for a steel frame and that means that it climbs very well but what impressed me the most was the bikes stability at 70km/h on the descents. Not once did i worry if i was going to make a corner.Where you point the wheel is where she goes.

The 32 spoke wheels also help with the stiffness and handling.

Would i recommend this to a friend?HELL YES

At under 8kg the bike is pretty light and can be raced but most people buying this will be doing so for the enjoyment over longer rides.

One thing that i do enjoy about this over my carbon bike is that my kidneys and lower back don't hurt after a 3 hour ride.

Another great product from Ritchey

Wyatt let me test ride his bike the week before last week - just to confirm that I'm ordering the right sized frame. My first comment after returning from my (very) short ride was: "it's a very stiff ride", which as you say is very surprising for a steel frame.

edit: test ride was last week - feels like 2 weeks since I was there.

My steel mtb has a bit of flex on the bb when i power up the hills and was expecting the same with the Ritchey.

Hi, looking for some info please (apologies if on wrong thread...)

What can anybody tell me about the Le Turbo bikes/frames? The one I saw has a "Champion du Monde" sticker on... I gather from other threads that it is a SA built frame, but can't find anything else...

Thanks

Thanks Wannabe. Appreciate it.

Anyone any idea what original bike in fairly rough condition worth?

Pleasure.

Not much, unfortunately.

All depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay for one.
