Way too many people out there trying to make a quick buck and unfortunately a lot of willing buyers that don't necessarily know the rules. But will fork out for something like this.

The entrant withdrawing may ask for the substitute entrant to refund their entry fee but they may not ask for more than they originally paid.PPA members paid an entry fee of R400 and non-PPA members paid an entry fee of R430. scotty Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 On top of the riders R400/R430 fee which cycletour state they can ask there is also the substitution fee of R230. So in effect if a rider takes this up they could end up paying R1030.

My bad . . . Apologies Howzeeeet. Sorry dude! If it's not a normal entry please edit the ad to give the type of entry too! e.g. "One Charity CTCT (Argus) Entry available at 800 bucks all in, etc..." This will cut all the speculation out. Although it's useful that the substitution rules are reiterated wherever they can be, as you can only guess how many people bend this ruling!
