carbon29er Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Anyone know what happened to Ashely in the women's race? She posted this tweet: Good sensations in @RondeVlaanderen today! Unfortunate run in with @L_ArmiTstead in last 200m cost me opportunity to contest sprint for 2nd!Liz Armitstead lost grip on the pedal, cleat popped. Saved the fall in the sprint. Check how her back wheel is off the ground. Scary.
Pure Savage Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Wiggins is really not a hard man of the peloton. The boy falls off his bike, throws it around like an idiot, then sits around the back for 75km not trying to get to the front to help out then gets dropped off. May as well have just done his Rapha shoot and gone home. Look at Paulini, bike incident, stands up, holds bike for mechanic, gets on bike, hammers. Gets back to help out mates. Wiggins basically the Hamilton of the peloton.
HappyMartin Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I'll be somewhere on the road between JHB and DBN on Sunday afternoon, coming back from the Emperors Palace road race, so going to miss watching PR Doing your own race always beats watching someone else race
tombeej Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Doing your own race always beats watching someone else raceFair point. Then again, Paris Roubaix happens once a year (and I'm a fan of the classics more than stage racing), while I can race my own races whenever I feel like it.
Tumbleweed Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Speculation is that the Shimano service was being driven by someone previously employed by a French TV station is apparently unfounded.
Kranswurm Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428302278.336286.jpgWas it the same car in both incidents?
Tumbleweed Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Now that's legs. If only I had me a pair of those! But the way they "flare" must add drag into a headwind...
