Rather put your hands up and hand over the goods, your life is worth more than your stuff.. If you want to survive and are serious about defense, rather join the True Krav Maga coarse with Gary Barret at Takedown... yes its not an instant solution, but damn it will help you in that FIGHT or FLIGHT situation..PS Krav Maga is not martial arts, it stems from the Mossad (isreali special forces) and is a means of STAYING ALIVE...

And as long as they know we have this attitude the theft and attacks will continue because you are classed as soft targets

Smurfy Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I'm looking at packing heat again as well. How do you carry your weapon Smurfy, on your person or on the bike? I found that when I carry on my person, the weapon picks up moisture and it starts rusting. However packing on the bike is not ideal because if you get hit with something and seperated from the bike you're stuffed.My 9mm is compact and fits into the middle back pocket easily. I carry it in a shamy soft holster to ptotect it against sweat. The gun licence I carry in my phone cover. On you is the best, so incase you get knocked off it is still with you.

Come to the Bottelary Hills, its awesome and you can ride for hours. There is also 2 waterpoints to refill your bottles. You can see Table mountain, Stellies, Paarl, Strand and the mountains of Simonstown, Gordonsbay in the distance. Single track, jeep track awesome downhill and lekker tough climbs.
