hehe, there is MF1, MF2, MF3 and MF4... coming from Rhodes down to Deerpark and then up to Tafelberg Rd could see you enjoying 3 of them...sweet :-)

The tracks are very loose at the moment. Leave your race tyres at home and put proper knobblys on. You will need them on the ups and downs...

Enjoy!

What is MF?

Strava segment on the prologue. It is a very steep section that they will have to climb.

I think that the epic is calling it the quarry climb to be more polite.

And be a bit carefully on the new single track cut that takes you to the top of plump pudding.Already getting very loose from guys dragging theirs brakes on the descent.Dont want to be out on day 1.

I noticed that too, when I was walking down it, glad to see the guys obeying the signs!

And we wonder why it's so hard to ride on the Mountains in Cape Town.

I rode it the other day, if it's hot then those climbs are going to be interesting, didn't walk but took a breather at Dead Mans Tree.

I'd say it's more difficult than Meerendal (2013 prologue), because it's basically first half of climbing and then downhill home. Not much technical singletrack really, 2 sections only, one down to Plum Pudding which I have a feeling people might take it easy and maybe even walk there and then a super fun section near the finish that has a few small rocks, if anyone is interested you can just look on Strava for the different segments.

I'm going to try find a better vantage point, Dead Mans Tree is going to be spectator mayhem!

Good Luck to all the riders, have a blast!
