Hi guys, I messed up the pedal threads on my spinning bike and seeing that warm seasons are coming to a close, I need to get it sorted out. I need left and right crank arms that do have a the spider part on the right.

Basically, this is what I need:

Any idea where I can get this from, been to a couple cycle shops, and no one seems to have them.

Take them to an engineering shop and have thread inserts put in.

There are also a couple of hubbers who have the skills and tools for this too.... ask nicely (not me)

Please, if anyone has the tools that can sort this out. Please let me know, I will obviously pay.

Thanks for the offers of assistance guys, but ampandy has sorted them out for me.

Thanks ampandy, really appreciate your help. One again I'm really impressed by the extent at which hubbers are willing to help each other.

It's a pleasure Catatonic_Joe, but why are you afraid of the winter weather??

Was going to ask the same, honestly my favorite time of the year to ride.. waking up is more difficult but once i'm out there I love it.

In the warm months I get quite a bit a training done by commuting to work and back, I leave home at 6:00 to be at work by 6:30 so I have enough time to shower and get dressed to start working at 7. In winter it's dark and freezing cold at that time of the morning, and I hate riding in the dark freezing cold.

I still go riding outdoors on weekends though, just later than I would in the summer months.

So I use the spinning bike on winter during the week to make up for the commutes.

Dude!!!! That's no excuse. I'm out at 4 30 summer and winter and again in the evenings at 7. Pay a visit to anatomic and get some kit to kill the wind.
