Carbon Rims - Whats the experience with Wider (if any)

I've been riding a set of Edco Albis for the last month, and I absolutely love them. 24.5mm rims, with 25mm Contis - I can't believe how much of a different they make. Better grip, more comfortable ride, and apparently, more aero.

edco are an Official HotChillee Ride Captain Sponsor - they're busy making a push back into the UK market, currently imported by Cambrian Tyres (website).

I really like the freebody too - compatible with both Campag and Shimano/SRAM.

Here they are in real life:

Every article and study that I have read not only says 25 is more comfortable than 23, but also all the lab and real world studies show that they are faster too.

I think Spez makes a 25c tyre that fits most 23c rims.

  .. are you saying that the 25mm tyres on 23mm rims are faster??

No, where did I says "25c tyres on 23c rims are faster" read what I said again.

I said: "All the studies I have READ state that 25c are faster than 23c."

I then went on to make a second point of saying that I think Spez makes a 25 that fits nicely onto a 23, this is for those of us that dont feel like changing rims but want to try 25c.

Read these for yourself, very interesting, then draw your own conclusions.

Riding AC Wide Lighting and love them!

But now it's time to move on. I will order a pair of these from Nextie in the coming weeks.

They look veeery similar to the 29er Derbie Rims than Ivan Kemp is describing.

Anybody interested to hop on board to save on shipping cost?

Anybody had some experience with this supplier? I think there was one mention on the Chinese Carbon thread but nothing negative so far.

Drop me a PM if you (or anyone) would like to order Derby rims.
