BigDL Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Really sorry to read this morning that a cyclist was killed yesterday in midstream by a freak accident. Apparently the stabilizer on a brick truck swung out and hit him as he was riding. I didn't know you China but my condolences to your family.

Don't want to ride past that spot for some reason. Poor oke and his wife and kids.

edgarblount Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 This is such sad news. We keep to the estate thinking it is safe. With the road works now happening in and around the estate again it is getting more and more dangerous to ride. RIP

It appears to be a freak accident, which unfortunately happens from time to time. Riding a bike is dangerous, but this type of accident is not a reason to not want to ride.

RIP to the cyclist and condolences to the family and friends.Must add though that i really feel for the driver... sounds like he/she was behaving normally, but a freak incident with the stabiliser is what caused the accident. That must be a terrible thing to live with?
