Guest Big H Posted May 8, 2008 Share Not sure whether this was discussed. To seat the beads when fitting a tubeless tyre you need a quick blast of a volume of air quickly. Not many of us has compressors to do this but all of us have spare tyres. If you connet your tube to a car tyre with a length of reinforced air hose and two valve clips at each end and add a normal ball valve in the middle to controll the flow of air you have a large volume of air that is available quickly. Can also be used to "blowdry" a washed chain and other odd things. Just remeber to re-inflate your spare tyre as that would now be a calamity if you need it, would it not!!!!!!!!!
