Here is my sort list so far.

2014 Propel Advance Ultegra DI 10 speed  for R35k.

2015 Propel Advance Ultegra DI2 11 speed for R40k

2015 Spez Venge Pro Race mech Ultegra 11 speed for R65K

If I go Propel I can add stages and ceramic bearings tubby wheelset  and ceramic bb but not with Spez.

I like the Venge and should I change something that works for me?

Is that the all new mean looking Venge which will give you allegedly 2 minutes over a 40km route?

I think bang for buck the giants are such good value. You're getting a bike that is made by a company that not only build a heck of a lot of frames for the more snobbish brands that people lust for but also has. A massive R&D team for materials and for their teams

Have you thought about the new TCR? Just released and is a great all round bike.

That said the venge does look like it's be a hello of a bike to ride. I'd wait to see some reviews to see how easy it is to live with day to day rather than 110% flat out, pro level racing.

Now there is a new venge on the scene you might be able to pick up the shape that most of the peloton are on at a clearance price as people make way for new stock. From what I've heard the lower level Venges we're the ones to go for as they had a better ride for mere mortals because of the more forgiving type of carbon used.

I'm looking at upgrading in a couple of months but I want to see what happens with disk brakes.

- Canyon...

I had a TCR advanced before, now on the 2015 scott foil 10. Its a much harsher ride than the TCR but it is an aero bike after all. I am loving it though

Don't like disc brakes so I would leave that option.

The TCR doesn't have DI2.

The 2016 Advanced SL-0 is Dura Ace Di2 & the Advanced SL-01 will be Ultegra Di2, the Advanced SL-1 will be Ultegra mech.

Speaking of TCR etc, doesnt that integrated seat post cause issues when packing bikes into boxes?

Just asking cause the Propel I like also has it, and its a concern?

I have a Trek that also has the integrated seat post and it is bit of an issue when packing.

It only travels when I go to CT for the Argus, but since it doesn't fit in a box it now has a special place in the "Van" away from the "common" bikes. First class hehe.
