I don't think Dale is supporting what the russian said and as always everyone has the right to their opinion?

Sure, he's like an entertainer

I cannot be offended by the craziness of a Russion billionaire cycling super fan team boss

Life's too short

And Johnny D couldn't do it.. again... [emoji85]

Since his glorious Classics campaign he's been so quiet

I reckon he's dreaming about that rainbow jersey, Gen

Ja, probably. . Along with a lot of other riders.

Going to be a great race that.

It was an amazing finish. It looked like Venter might actually stay away and take the stage but he was caught a few hundred meters from the finish. Daryl sprinted for it and dam near won it. He came second by half a wheel I think. I was yelling my head off. Scared both cats and the little dog away.

Yeah fantastic entertainment, mocking a rider who struggled the whole day after an unfortunate accident.

Froomey is sipping on his lemon tea checking his bank account, stroking his yellow jersey, in his digs in Monaco

You're still going on about ol' Oleg - he would love the attention

Lightning took out our area's transformer - no Hub, Virtual Training or Zwift for me at home.

Navicular fractures can be stress related (mostly sprinters) but this is clearly a case of trauma. The navicular articulates on two big surfaces and is very prone to 1. non-union and 2. post traumatic osteo-arthritis.

If he heals well it should not hold him back at all in future but if it turns sour it will have to be fixed with an arthrodesis. The whole process can be very lengthy.

Unfortunately I have seen sport careers being ended by similar injuries.

Why do you think it wasn't picked up on the first round of imaging? He had to have more scans (?what) the following morning before it was diagnosed.

Depending on the imaging. XR is very inaccurate because of the random direction of the fracture lines. CT can miss it if the orientation is not rotated to be perpendicular or if the cuts are not fine enough. MRI is good to show bone oedema but not to see undisplaced fractures especially if it is early and the surrounding tissues are very swollen (lots of flare).

But above all - this is Spain. Not exactly the centre of the medical universe.
