This can't be good for your dropper post, can it?

If it's not rubbing the post and it isn't heavy enough to stop the post rising apparently it's not really an issue. All your mates getting miffed because it's not #enduro is probably the real challenge you will be facing.

So what did they say when you pitched up like that [emoji12]

I rode like this for a while. It keeps the stanchion free of mud from the back wheel, and never caused any issues.

The only negative is that if you are short, the wheel might touch the bag when it is lowered and the suspension compresses. My wife had this issue (5'2" on a 150mm travel Reign)

Enduro's, like, all the rage on the East Rand of late. Those mine dumps make for great gravity courses...

Bike scrotum!

That'll eventually rub the coating off. Guaranteed.

Yes, you can get them for bikes too. And they illuminate.

I always thought they were using blue balls to show they never get laid... must be a side effect of being a blue bull supporter

Whilst we are on this topic, using a bike stand and clamping the dropper post, surely, this cannot be good?

My LBS never clamps on the dropper luckily.... from what I understand it is very very bad for it

Pull the post out and clamp on the lower section.

Slight hijack:

Can you screw up a reverb by doing the seat clamp up too tight?

That will damage any dropper... it compresses the bottom tube and prevents smooth travel. Had that issue and just loosened it up a little, problem solved
